Budapest Conference

1st EU-Level thematic conference for the European Year of Volunteering 2011: “Recognising the contribution of volunteering to economy, society and the individual – where are we now, and where do we want to go?”

It takes place in  Budapest, Hungary, from January 8th till 12th.

The conference covers several round table discussions, for example: Volunteering as a tool for developping skills during childhood, Volunteering in sport and leisure, Volunteering and advertisement, Possibilities of benefits for companies in the world of volunteering. Another presentations are focused in topics as for example: the Mobility programme, Youth in Action, Volunteering in secondary and university education, Volunteering possibilities in social institutions, seniors residences, institutions and associations dealing with discapacity.
